Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a Global market leading listed organisation at their European Head office in Farnborough.

As the Management Accountant, you will provide support to the Finance Team, producing monthly Management Accounts and delivering reliable reporting requirements, as well as gaining exposure to a wide number of key areas.

Responsibilities:

Prepare reports of statutory accounts at half and full year and to produce monthly management accounts
Support and deliver reliable reporting requirements for the business under tight deadlines
Lead regular project review meetings, liaising with Business Finance and Project Managers
Support Assistant Management Accountants
Lead on month end processes for a specific business area
Posting timely and accurate journals to the accounts
Support transaction posting where necessary
Provide high level understanding of the P&L and Balance Sheet and provide detailed commentary
Oversee and prepare monthly management packs and balance sheet packs ready for Team Lead and Business Finance review
Support the Business Finance team with forecasting and budgeting
Prepare stat pack, review, and submission to the Business Finance Team
Monitor Capital expenditure of Group Investment Programme
Review of bids against standard checklist for compliance with process, completeness, and accuracySkills & Requirements:

Part Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent
Strong understanding of finance fundamentals
Month-end experience
Attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Strong Excel skills
