Job Description
EXCLUSIVE JOB – Outstanding opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager or relevantly skilled/qualified finance professional to join one of the counties leading employers. This Finance Manager position will see the individual provide and lead on the organisation’s internal projects and provide ongoing and accurate accounting of the projects as they move from inception to completion. The organisation offers a very attractive pension scheme and excellent holidays and other benefits. The role is office based, but allows a hybrid work pattern of 5 out of 10 days from home. Essential requirements

* Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

* Must have proven track record of practical financial accounting including consolidated statutory accounts

* Influence and lead Department Heads to ensure projects have robust financial analysis and strong Business Cases to support decision-making

* Able to lead cross functional teams including direct staff management

* Finance Business Partner approach due to nature and variety of the departments engaged with

* Develop long range financial forecasting models to show impact on bank covenants and cash balances with a variety of ‘what-if’ modelling assumptions

* Experienced in developing financial business cases

* Previous financial management of multiple projects highly desirable

* Knowledge of Tax / VAT would be highly desirable

* 42 days holiday including bank holiday

* 6-8% pension

The role has the capacity to develop further in terms of responsibilities and salary after 12 month and KPI’s being achieved and movement to the next salary range.
