OVERVIEW:
An exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk has become vacant following internal promotion. Applicants should be well versed in all aspects of high volume invoice processing and managing associated queries and administration. Additional accounting skills would be beneficial so you could assist others in the team. A proactive and organised work ethic is expected.

THE ROLE:
Full time, permanent, office based
Part of a highly efficient accounts team processing all aspects of purchase ledger
Match, batch, code high volume invoices before undertaking payment runs
Identify and resolve all account queries
Provide cover for the sales ledger clerk during times of absence

THE CANDIDATE:
Practical experience processing high volume purchase ledger invoices is expected
Ability to remain accurate and organised whilst working towards deadlines
Willingness to assist colleagues within the accounts dept during busy periods.
Confidence when managing account queries and liaising with suppliers
