Job Description
Are you an experienced Insurance Broker looking to work for a reputable company in the Preston area?
Our client has a vacancy for an Insurance Broker to join their team in Leyland.
The hours of working are Monday – Friday (Apply online only) (with one hours for lunch) and there is a requirement to work three Saturdays in every eight weeks on a rota (half-days based at their Ashton location).
If you are personable, with great customer service and attention to detail, we are looking for you!
You must have a CPD (Continuing Professional Development) in place as the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) has confirmed this is a must for all Insurance Brokers OR have had extensive training in finance, where you will have knowledge of money-laundering and the FCA regulations.
You will need to be confident to provide advice on the best insurance options for clients` needs. This will include both new and existing clients. The types of insurance you will handling are personal, home, motor, travel and if you have commercial experience (vans, office policies etc) then we would like to hear from you!
Training will be provided on the in-house systems that will be used. However, knowledge of CDL would be a bonus! You must be computer literate as you will be logging on to insurer websites and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel are a must.
Parking is free as there is nearby street parking.
SALARY: £21,000 – £28,000 per annum (negotiable depending upon experience)
