Job Description
Temp to Perm Credit Controller – £28-30,000 Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the Credit Control team in Chertsey. The role is a temp to perm opportunity and the successful candidate will effectively manage cash collection for all ledgers.

Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:

Effectively chase and collect due and overdue invoices by the daily action of tasks in Sidetrade
Processing of cash receipts and direct debit collections daily in Sage
Process credit limit requests in a timely manner
Release blocked orders with the appropriate level of urgency
Communication and cooperation with business and customers
Credit Controller Key Tasks:

Working with multiple currency ledgers in GBP, EUR and Nordic currencies
Keep accurate records for each contact with customers
Credit checking new customers 
Ensure adequate insurance cover is in place for export customers
Constantly monitor the status of overdue debtors and advise finance team of any bad debts
Process mid and month end direct debit collections
Ensuring all month end deadlines are met
Process daily invoice runs
Process credit card payments online
Review credit limit report ensuring all amendments to credit limits have been authorized appropriately in line with company policy
Maintain Credit Control inbox
Comply with the Credit Policy
You may have worked in the following capacities:
Accounts Receivable Clerk, Credit Control Clerk, Credit Control Assistant, Credit Control, Accounts Assistant, Accounts Administrator.
