Job Description
Michelle Denny Recruitment is on the search for a Financial Controller, with an accompanying salary of £50k – £65k for an Ipswich based business. BUT we're not looking for just any FC – we are hoping to find someone who is super motivated and has the energy and drive to ambitiously develop the role into a future directorship, embracing all the challenges and rewards that such a pivotal position brings.
The company is set to grow and has some exciting plans. To help focus on these, they wish to appoint a financial professional with commercial acumen and vision to support the owners in preparing and driving the business forward through the next stages of growth and expansion.
Of course, it goes without saying that you'll need to be experienced and capable in all areas of senior financial accounting and have the ability to provide timely and accurate financial reports, forecasts, information and analysis to enable management to optimise results with controls that safeguard the company's financial standing.
You'll be managing a small accounts team, including credit control, accounts and admin assistants and will work closely with all departments, including Purchasing, Stock, Sales and Operations so it's hoped you take real joy in engaging with colleagues at all levels, with a collaborative and team-spirited approach.
