Job Description
Job title: Financial Controller
Location: Bristol (Filton)
Hourly rate: £35.03 per hour Umbrella or £26.48 per hour PAYE
IR35 status: Inside IR35
Duration: 9 months

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a prestigious and well-respected organisation!

Key responsibilities include:

Applying Financial Control program guidelines
Consolidates operational input at wing airframe program level and analyses variances with target for the relevant program in close relationship with Wing and programme Airframe controller.
Program controlling and prepares information and analysis
For Convergences review for Risks & Opportunities recognition during the year;
For validation, postponement or cancellation of additional activity during the year
Prepare EVM status and analysis for monthly review (for programs concerned).
Provide financial links to activity to the operational teams.
Perform controlling of cost by destination, cost by nature and resources within relevant program to support in target achievement.
Supporting Finance improvement and transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will have experience of:

Variance analysis
Business partner heavily with an engineering department
Strong Stakeholder management
Convergence with central teams
Budgeting and forecasting
Month and quarter end
CIMA qualification
