We are looking for a candidate who is willing to be part of the business to create growth. We are also
looking for a candidate with the desire to progress within the business to more senior roles
Our client is a local independent company, who specialise in insurances primarily for the housing, lettings
and estate agency market, and are seeking a professional candidate to fulfil the role available within the
company as Business Development Manager. This role is vital for the company, as you'll be establishing
new clients on a business to business basis, arranging meetings to take place, attend the meetings, as well
as liaising with current clients to continue building the professional working relationship. An experienced
individual is needed. If you are naturally talkative, have a passion for sales, this could be the perfect
opportunity for your career to start as training will be provided, along with progression.

Here's a little more as to what the role will generally entail:-

Conducting outbound calls to generate leads/referrals/New Clients/Meetings
Taking incoming calls from clients and customers alike
Assisting with policy renewals
Arranging meetings for new clients to meet the Sales Team or to meet yourself
The successful candidate must have the following:-

Sales experience (ideally in insurances or the Lettings/Estate Agency Market)
Professional telephone manner
Computer literate
Reliable/Punctual
Motivated
Target driven
Capable of problem solving
Are proactive, rather than reactive
Organised
Able to up sell naturally
Pay and Benefits:

Be offering a basic salary of £20,000 – £23,000 with a comprehensive bonus scheme
Ability to progress within the business
Additional commission structure for leads/meetings/referrals
