Job Description
TITLE: PAYROLL ADVISOR

JOB REF: 10982

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent

LOCATION: Loughborough

SALARY: Up to £30k per annum dependent on experience

HOURS: Full Time 37.5 hours per week or part time 30-35 hours (salary pro rata)

JR Personnel are an employment agency acting on behalf of a client who is looking for a diligent candidate with payroll experience to work closely with and report to the HR Manager to ensure all payroll tasks are managed and completed within a timely, efficient manner. You will be the main point of contact bas the Payroll Advisor for all payroll queries and manage the whole process from the start to the end on a monthly basis.

Role profile:

* Responsible for the entire payroll function

* Ensure new starters, leavers and relevant calculations (including holiday accruals) are updated on the internal system

* Payroll involves a combination of hourly paid timesheets and salaried staff

* Ensure calculation and payment of Tax, NI, Pension, Overtime etc. are applied to the Payroll system each month in-keeping with company deadline

* Logging of sickness for reporting reasons

* Preparing P60,s P11Ds and gender Pay reporting

* Take an active interest in current payroll regulations/legislation and advise and instruct Finance and HR Departments where necessary

* Various other administrative tasks as and when required

Essential Experience:

* Proven payroll experience

* Used to running multiple payrolls

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* Proven involvement in complete payroll processing

* Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Word and Excel

Further Skills/Experience

* Proactive, organised with analytical/problem solving skills

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
