Our client is a leading specialist care provider known for its innovative services for those with learning disabilities and mental health needs. They provide residential, respite, supported living and day care services. 

Responsibilities of the role:

To relate to service users and meet their needs, with a sense of understanding, patience, respect and dignity

To understand and deliver person centered support like manual handling to a range of individuals with learning disability and challenging behavior.

To assess risks and plan strategies in supporting service users activities’ and interactions in order to deliver safe care and support. 

To accurately maintain and review individual client files, record all daily activities and other records to evidence the delivery of care and support. 

To support clients with activities by promoting choice and independence whilst maintaining safe delivery of care. 

To promote service user welfare and well-being through ensuring healthy meals, nutrition and hydration.
