Job Description
Successful manufacturing businesses based on Walton Summit has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Financial Controller to join its small but busy Finance Team.

This role is very hands on and the Financial Controller will be responsible for general tasks such as : accounts production, credit control, reconciliation and forecasting. You will learn the financial data of the organisation and make suggestions on current processes. Previous experience will mean you have knowledge in the correct IT systems and have ideas to improved current procedures.

Key responsibilities:

Preparation and production of monthly accounts
Team management and development
Credit control, proactively chase debt
Complete payments, getting authorisation for them, making payments to suppliers and staff
Maintain sales and purchase ledgers
Maintain long-term and short-term cash flow forecast reports
Prepare payroll information
Provide strategic and financial guidance to ensure that Sliders (UK) Ltd financial commitments are met
Seek out methods and practices to minimise financial riskKey Skills:

Experience in a similar role
Proven ability to identify, drive and manage opportunities to standardise processes for efficiency and consistency
Strong system and spreadsheet capability
Understanding of manufacturing processes
Ability to analyse documents processes and implement improvements
