Job Description
Our client is looking for an IT Project and Finance Analyst on a permanent basis, located in Aberdeen.

ROLE

The intent of this role is to support the IT function with Purchase order creation and support the Risk and Compliance Manager in assuring that projects follow to Project Delivery framework and that all IT financial procedures are completed.

The role is responsible for raising all IT purchase requisitions and then ensuring the purchase orders / statement-of-work / Call-offs meet the IT and Supply chain requirements.

The role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial data in the tracking tools used to report the IT budget.

The role is responsible for conducting periodic testing of the Project Delivery framework (with the support and guidance of the Risk and Compliance Manager).

The role includes assisting in the design, implementation, and execution of compliance controls into the IT project and finance processes (with the support and guidance of the Risk and Compliance Manager)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Raising all IT Purchase Requisitions in the SAP ERP system:

Ensuring the correct details relating to the service being purchased are included.
Check Purchase Requisitions have been approved and budget is available.
Dealing with any queries from Finance.
Notifying requestors when PR is approved.
Checking an issuing the PO to suppliers.
Tracking the request number and PO number/value in the IT demand tracking tool.
Tracking license information.
Supporting the IT Supply Chain lead with any tenders / renewals / re-negotiations:

Reviewing scopes
Collating information required.
Assisting with tender responses received and collating feedback
Updating the IT demand tracking tool with status.
Conducting compliance review of the Project Delivery Framework. 

Check a sample of projects throughout the year and ensure that followed the process.
Conduct a walk though meeting with the Project managers that did not follow the   Project delivery framework to understand why and how the process can be improved.
Creating final reports and presenting to the Risk and Compliance Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

Fluent in English (oral and written) and one other of company’s main languages would be beneficial.
Able to develop strong relationships.
Analytical thinker.
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Ability to maintain focus with great attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of IT would beneficial.
Experience using SAP for raising purchase requests would be beneficial
