Job Description
I AM DELIGHTED TO BE WORKING WITH A GROWING COMPANY ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF NORTHAMPTON, WHO ARE LOOKING FOR AN EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT TO JOIN THEIR TEAM.

Account Management:
Processing Supplier payments and Customer invoicing
Reconciling Customer and Supplier balances
Monitoring accuracy of supplier invoicing and statements, and dealing with queries
Bank and statement reconciliation
Maintaining accurate financial records
Preparation of weekly and monthly reports to share with the Senior management team on business and financial analysis
Monitor and Manage office supplies and equipment
Provide direct admin support as needed, including diary management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, booking travel, maintaining filing systems and accounts
Develop supplier relationships to increase awareness of the business to improve and maintain account credit limits, rebates, and margin
Supporting an external accountancy team with year-end accounts
Customer Service:
Provide customer service and administrative support to the internal office team, answering telephones and booking customer services when required
To maintain and develop beneficial working relationships with all to further the organisations objectives including attendance at Weekly and Monthly Management meetings when required
To uphold the reputation of the company by maintaining high personal standards and projecting a warm, appreciative, and welcoming attitude towards teams and customers
To effectively communicate with the Directors, staff, sales teams, and external customers by cascading information as relevant, in a clear and concise manner
To promote a customer care approach within the business, investigating complaints or issues both timely and efficiently
To take responsibility for personal and professional development
About you:
Be extremely organised
Good Time management skills
Ability to organise workload
Able to work as part of a team or Individually
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines with a flexible approach to changing priorities
Confident in communicating effectively at all levels written and verbal
Have high attention to detail, demonstrates logical and analytical reasoning with the ability to articulate financial data
Excellent communication and IT skills including good knowledge of Excel, word and PowerPoint
Knowledge of Xero would be highly beneficial although not essential.
AAT Qualified would be an advantage
