Job Description
We are assisting a private equity backed company based in Central London to recruit for an FP&A Analyst. The position is hybrid and will require you to attend the offices for internal meetings and any other business critical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing external and internal reporting, explaining trends and variances.
* Partnering with department managers / leaders to drive organisational excellence.
* Building financial models for budgeting, forecasting and long term planning.
* Analysing business performance and project proposals, to drive fact based decision making.
* Using your passion for excellence and analytical skills to dive into data and identify key insights, as well as potential risks & opportunities.
* Assisting in the creation and execution of ad-hoc analyses, using a combination of financial and non-financial data.
* Assisting other Finance colleagues in the periodic process of the production of management reports and papers (routine and non-routine information, financial and non-financial metrics and KPIs).
* Contributing to improving the quality, accuracy and timeliness of cashflow analysis and forecasting provided to the Executive team.
* Supporting budget holders, business units and Executive management by performing financial analysis, review and follow up on income and expenditure as appropriate.
* Supporting the year end audit process, including preparation of audit schedules.
* Contributing to projects, which support and promote the improvement of our control, reporting and business processes across the Group.
* Taking ownership of daily/weekly reports used by the executive management team.
* Utilising Power BI and Sage Intacct
