Roles and responsibilities:

* Working closely with the Group Tax Manager to ensure tax compliance is maintained for all group companies. Duties will include but may not limited to the following:

* Ensuring VAT compliance across all group entities through timely preparation of returns and working with external advisers

* Supporting the Payroll Department, assisting with tax payments to tax agencies, pension providers etc

* Working with the Group Tax Manager by assisting with Corporation tax calculations and returns

* Assisting employees in relation to compliance with the Group Tax Protection Policy

* Assisting in other tax related matters and contributing to the Finance Team as required

* Ensure that professional training and personal development is kept up to date

Background Experience and Education & Skills:

* Previous experience working in practice or industry

* Part qualified ACCA, ACA, CPA or AITI or working towards qualification

* Strong IT skills, in particular Excel

* Ability to work as part of a team and possessing excellent communication skills
