Job Description
CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be supporting our Basingstoke, Hampshire client, who is currently in need of an Accounts Assistant to join their busy and vibrant team on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting into the Finance Director, the role of Accounts Assistant will cover various aspects of the company’s day to day accounting operations.

What will the role involve?

Daily cash allocations;
Daily direct debit processing;
Bank reconciliations;
Maintenance of Accounts Payable and  Accounts Receivable ledgers;
Reconciliation of other cash related balance sheet accounts;
Other ad hoc duties as required by management.
Suitable Candidate:

You will be studying AAT or a similar accounting qualification with a keenness to progress your career in finance;
Strong system skills, Excel are essential;
Knowledge of Accounts Payable and Cash Processing, basic reconciliations;
Self-motivated with a good attention to detail, with the ability to absorb information quickly;
Strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with other teams.
