Job Description
We are on the lookout for a Senior Claims Handler. to work within a major insurance company.

You will be well rewarded with a starting salary of £26,000, and a list of benefits including but not limited to fully funded industry relevant qualifications (CII). This will be funded up to diploma level as you move through their structured progression routes.

Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm

Duties for the Senior Claims Handler:

To take all claims details (FNOL) and determine liability
Good understanding of indemnity
To be able to guide and mentor less experienced members of staff on more complex files
To be able to manage a team of claims handlers and conduct regular performance reviews
Expertly deal with complex and high value claims
Recover clients vehicle and arrange replacement credit hire following an RTA
To allocate repairers and engineers as appropriate
To allocate destinations for salvage
Chasing total loss payments/CIL
Recover any uninsured losses as appropriate
Allocate new business to appropriate channels by estimating claim value from the outset
Recover outstanding invoices from third party companies
Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of recovery process I am extremely keen to speak to anybody that has minimum 2 years experience within a claims environment that is looking to take the next step in their career!
