Job Description
Due to continued growth, our client is looking to employ a personable and motivated Senior Financial Accountant. You will be responsible for the production of timely, accurate and relevant financial information for management; in addition to:

Monthly Management accounts including financial accounts reconciliation.
Journals including CO-OP, marketing accruals, import price variance and inventory adjustment.
Closing month end.
Prepare VAT returns, EC sales and Intrastat and submit to HMRC.
Maintaining Prepayment and Accruals schedule.
Assist in the budget and forecast and posting of budget/forecast to ERP system.
Various reports for service department including overhead report and Income statement.
Ongoing simplification of existing financial control processes and systems.

To be successful in the role of Senior Financial Accountant, we would like to speak to anyone who has experience in the following:

To be Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA).
Microsoft excel skills that include Pivot tables, Vlookup, SumIF, SumIFS & Index Match, SumProduct.
Analytical and logical problem solving skills.
Always willing to help the team deliver on key objectives.
Experience of working in a retail or consumer sector management accounts function.
Experience of working with and influencing senior budget holders.
