Job Description
This position will mostly involve homeworking, but travel to the office in Chester will be necessary from time to time. The role is due to last for 2-4 months and will involve supporting the Finance Officer during a transitionary period for the organisation. Depending on how the team restructure goes over the following months, this may well lead to a permanent or more long term post for the right person – it's an excellent time to get involved!

Description

Reporting into the Finance Officer, this post sits within Financial Services and will involve a varied range of duties. The typical day to day will include;

Balance Sheet reconciliations
Financial accounting
Debtors & Creditors
Improving processes and helping to implement positive change
Analysing and presenting data
Working with Microsoft Excel
Control account reconciliationsProfile

The successful candidate for this post will be available to start as soon as possible, and will have a proven background in a similar role. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel to an intermediate/advanced level is essential, along with an ability to pick things up quite quickly. Strong finance skills are an absolute must, as we will need someone who is able to interpret fairly complex data.
