Practice Accountant | Manchester | Hybrid Working | Study Support (ACA) | Circa £45,000

An experienced Practice Accountant is required by an exciting pension consultancy based in Manchester. This growing company are looking for an accountant with great experience of preparing multiple statutory accounts for a variety of clients. You will ideally have knowledge of FRS 102 and SORP. This is a great opportunity for a Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant to develop their skills within the finance industry, in a brilliant and flexible working environment.

An annual salary of circa £45,000 + study support + hybrid working is available depending on experience

Responsibilities

The practice accountant’s role will include:

–        Calculation of accruals and prepayments

–        Reconciliation of pension payroll, investments, contributions to accounting records

–        Preparation of cash analysis for admin reports and FRS102

–        First draft of accounts for pension schemes including preparing the Trustee’s Report, financial statements and notes from underlying information

–        Preparation of audit files

Requirements

The practice accountant will be:

–          Experienced in preparing multiple statutory accounts with disclosures.

–          Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant

–          Willing to learn and have a sound knowledge of double entry book-keeping

–          Knowledge of FRS 102 and SORP
