Job Description
Excellent opportunity to work with the Head of Financial Modelling and Analysis in this growing organisation.

Your role will be to:

Analyse financial data and create Financial Models for decision support.

Aid in Financial Reporting of Managed Service Contracts both internally and externally.

Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.

Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.

Reviewing Commercial performance of new and existing contracts.

Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.

Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.

Data analysis and being able to spot trends in data and drawing meaningful conclusions.

Resources/decision making authority

All work to be checked and signed off – Peer Reviewing in the Modelling Team.

The person:

Must be Excel proficient – Advance Excel user (comfortable with Excel Formulas and Functions and working with Financial Models)

Comfortable around Excel spreadsheet creation, manipulation (and any other modelling tools)

Disciplined and analytical approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact at all levels.

Works in a structured and methodical manner, deadline oriented.

Continually seeks improved and more efficient methods of working

Capability profile Qualifications Essential Desirable

Advanced Excel and Data analysis (Comfortable with lookups, Index Match, Pivot tables, Sumifs, Creating Charts etc.)

At least 5 years Finance and general business experience

Numerical, Mathematical & logical mind

Good written & verbal communication skills

Attention to detail

Good record keeping

Good presentation skills

Languages Essential Desirable

English (Spoken and written)

Desirable:

Degree Educated

Maths A Level (GCSE Mathematics essential)
