Job Description
Financial Planning & Accounts Analyst – 6-month contract
** £45-50,000 per annum ** Hybrid working ** Private Healthcare ** Up to 10% discretionary bonus **
This is a new role working within the Finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Director.
The FP&A Analyst will be instrumental in creating value to Finance and the company, through insightful analysis, robust budgeting processes and forecasting scenario modelling capability.
You will have pro-active approach and be a forward thinker, who is open, approachable with a positive can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail.
Job Description:
Standardise and coordinate the quarterly forecasting process including bringing clarity on ownership, accountabilities, timescales, and required outputs
Develop long range scenario modelling capability for strategic planning purposes.
Assist in preparing Board level presentations to communicate trends, forecasts and budgets
Key contributor to setting and monitoring KPIs.
Build business partnering capabilities through providing insight and analysis as well as challenging existing targets / the norm
Key contributor to the roll out of the new cloud-based forecasting & planning system modules
Provide support to the FD and the wider finance team with ad-hoc projects focused on identifying opportunities to optimise the business and drive performance
Person Specification:
Demonstrate in-depth prior experience of modelling and data analysis.
Previous experience of working cross-functionally, obtaining insights from stakeholders
Ability to build working partnerships across the organisation and create value.
Strong written and verbal communication
Proven ability to provide accurate, clear, concise and timely information.
Prior experience and knowledge of working with cloud-based accounting software experience
Advanced Excel skills is a must as well as a good knowledge of PowerPoint
Demonstrate the ability to generate innovative solutions and new ways of working
Prior experience of drawing data from an accounting system
Part qualified / Finalist CIMA/ACCA

Based in Tunbridge Wells (hybrid; 2 days office, 3 days wfh)
This is a six-month contract
£45,000 – £50,000 per annum
