Job Description
Due to business acquisition, we have a new opportunity available for a Financial Controller to join our client one of Europe’s leading privately-owned food processors at their site in Burradon on a fixed term contract
Job Title: Financial Controller – 9 Month FTC
Location: Burradon
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 40 Hours per week
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Prepare and review weekly accounts for site on Monday
* Prepare and review weekly energy report for site on Monday
* Review and sign off weekly payroll for the site (Approx 50 Employees)
* Prepare and review weekly labour analysis report for site against standard manning
* Ensure Standard Manning report for site is maintained and kept up to date
* Prepare and review daily costings for site
* Review and sign off daily cattle remittances to farmers
* Purchase order authorisation and sign off purchase invoices
* Completion of Capex approval forms and payment forms for Capex expenditure
* Prepare and review Monthly accounts for site.
* Prepare and review annual Budgets and Business Plans for site
* Ensure all sales orders are closed each day by your team.
* Ensure all purchase invoices are processed by your team.
* Ensure export process is correctly carried out by your team.
The ideal candidate should have experience of working with and managing a team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. You will have the ability to stay calm and work well under pressure with excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills. You must be able to demonstrate commercial focus and knowledge of business operations, experience of working within a Food or FMCG environment would also be highly advantageous
