Finance Officer
Crewe, Cheshire
Up to £40,000 per annum
Permanent position
Our client, a trusted partner to organisations delivering Facilities Management services in busy public facing environments throughout the UK, are currently looking for an experienced and capable Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Th company provides its services across the Aviation, Rail, Events & Exhibitions, Retail, Education, Commercial and Industrial sectors all within the Facilities Management arena.
Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting the position of Finance Officer. As the Finance Officer you will be responsible for working with the Financial Director to transform the finance and commercial delivery models and continuously seek to improve services provided to their customers.
You will work alongside and assist the FD in ensuring financial stability, working on strategic financial planning, risk management, audit insights and investment governance.

You will work with the FD and senior management to help us understand future revenue and cost projections, working with operational teams to help us model different future scenarios. You will need to be curious and outward-facing, whilst also making sure you remain inspired to perform at your best.

Role Overview:
Your role will include (but it is not limited to):
* Assisting with budget preparation
* Managing daily payments, records & receipts
* Bank reconciliations
* Preparing financial and management information
* Working with the operational teams to assist them in understanding their financial information
* Manage sales ledger and support with credit control
* Manage the company’s financial system
* Project costing
* Assisting in the implementation of financial IT systems
* Assisting the FD with other ad-hoc tasks
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
* 3-5 years in a similar role ideally within a Facilities Management or Multi-site Service Provision Industry (but is not essential)
* Financial Qualifications to AAT Advanced Level or equivalent
* Experience of operating in a commercial environment
* Possess exceptional attention to detail
* Use excellent time management & prioritisation skills
* Well developed & demonstratable problem solving skills
* Have an excellent can-do attitude
* Have the ability to liaise with stakeholder management at all levels effectively
