Job Description
Finance Manager required to join a leading technology provider based in Wokingham, Berkshire, on a full time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportuntiy for an Accountant to join a leading provider with a global customer base. The succesful Accountant will have the support of an Accounts Assistant and work closely with the Managing Director to ensure the smooth running of the finance department.

Finance Manager Position Overview

Finance

Preparation of the monthly management accounts
Preparation of all required monthly reports, including, P&L, balance sheet, cash flow summary/forecast, and aged debt analysis.
Assistance of the company's auditors with the preparation of the annual statutory accounts, ensuring all necessary audit and taxation requirements are adhered to.
Preparation and submission of all and any tax returns.
Assisting in the preparation of the company's annual business plan & associated budget.
Production of the company payroll, including preparation of all staff overtime and commission payments, quarterly and annual bonuses
Ensuring Credit Control is done regularly to ensure that debtor days and aged debts are kept to an acceptable level.
Overseeing the production of customer invoicing, purchasing invoice entry, stock inputs and general accruals and prepayments.
Treasury management duties including daily bank statement download, maintenance of cash information and bank reconciliations.
Checking the accuracy of timesheets and expenses and overseeing the preparation of expenses for payment

Administration
All general company administrative duties including managing the pension scheme, private health cover, life assurance, motor fleet, and company insurance policies.
Maintaining company records for holiday, sickness and training.Finance Manager Position Requirements

Based locally to Wokingham, Berkshire
A qualified book keeper/Accountant AAT, ACCA/ CIMA or qualified by experience
Well organised
Accurate, with an eye for detail
A good written & verbal communicator
Computer literate
Competent using Axapta (AX) (ideally)

Finance Manager Position Remuneration

Salary £35k – £50k depending on experience and qualifications.
24 days holiday p/a + statutory bank holidays
5% company pension contribution.
Death in service (4 x salary).
Long term disability insurance.
Initially this is an office based role, with the view of hybrid working once familiar with the system etc
