Job Description
Finance Manager – Gloucester (central) – £40,000-£45,000 (per annum)

Finance Manager required to join a fast-growing manufacturing company based near Gloucester Quays.

As the successful Finance Manager you will manage 3 Financial Controllers based over 2 sites and will be responsible for cash flow forecasting, monitoring group financial controls and policies and balance sheet reconciliations.

This role would suit someone who has previous experience working as a Finance Manager within a manufacturing, production or engineering environment.

The Package:

Salary – £40,000-£45,000

Bonus Scheme (circa 10%)

The Role:

As the successful Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

Preparing Management Accounts
Working Capital Analysis – Especially stock movements
Commentary on operational and commercial performance
Balance Sheet Reconciliations for two sites
Fixed Asset Register – Ensure all assets are recorded to local policies
Monitoring group financial controls and policies and highlighting any internal gaps for review
Stock takes and cycle counts
Ensuring billing / shipments align to accounting period
Internal Audits / Testing
VAT and ONS Returns
Cash flow forecasts.
Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with queries

Requirements:

Will ideally have worked within a manufacturing / production environment within the finance department.
Must have experience leading and / or managing people.
Customs / IncoTerms experience (desirable)
