Job Description
Commercial Underwriter Colchester £35,000 to £50,000 (Depending on Experience)
Our continually growing Client has an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter to join their very successful Team.
In this role you will focus on high quality underwriting for profit, building strong working relationships. You will be proactive and confident when dealing with your Partners enabling you to retain and maximise Business through the delivery of exceptional Customer Service.
You will underwrite New Business Commercial risks from a designated panel of Brokers and support the wider Team.
As a Commercial Underwriter Your main responsibilities will include: –
Underwrite New Business profitably and accurately
Maintain and develop Business Relationships with your Brokers
Produce timely and accurate documentation
Assist Colleagues with technical and procedural aspects of Underwriting As a successful Commercial Underwriter, you will demonstrate:
Experience of working as a Commercial Underwriter
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build strong working relationships & delivery of exceptional customer service
Qualified to Cert CII status (preferable but not essential) Benefits Include:
