Job Description

We are looking for a Settlements Co-ordinator to join our team. Being the main point of contact for client's who are on a Debt Management Plan and seeking to settle accounts managed within their plans by providing the best advice, service & support in line with Treating Customers Fairly.
Responsibilities:
* Negotiating settlement offers with creditors by telephone & email on behalf of our customer base with a view to achieve the best possible outcome for the customer and company
* Handle all incoming and outgoing customer calls effectively, providing high levels of customer service at all times
* Send emails and letters to customers as required
* Handle all incoming and outgoing creditor calls effectively, providing high levels of service at all times
* Ensure customer and creditor call backs are managed effectively and in a timely manner
* Liaise with other departments to ensure files are managed correctly from inception to completion
* React in an appropriate manner to possible client complaints, terminations, and vulnerable clients in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
* Attend training sessions and meetings as and when required
* Make full and accurate notes on company software after each call to and from the customers and creditors
* Contribute to the overall performance of the CST Department and company, provide support to the managers as and when required
Key Skills and Experience:
* Ensure high levels of customer service and professionalism are always maintained
* Can work independently or as part of a team
* Have strong negotiating skills
* Previous phone experience essential
* Demonstrable B2B & B2C experience
* Demonstrate flexibility in an ever-changing and improving industry, ensuring high standards of self-conduct at all times.
* Have a good understanding of ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ and effectively implement this into daily work life, putting the customers at the heart of the company.
* Communicate in a clear, open, and honest manner
* Ensure all work is completed accurately and to deadlines, always paying attention to detail
* Be committed to developing within the role and be open to feedback
* Meeting monthly deadlines
* Computer literate – data entry experience preferable
