We are currently seeking a professional to join our Fund Services team in the role of: Senior Private Asset Specialist

To provide technical accounting oversight to UK private debt book, this will cover multiple fund ranges from ACS, PAIF's, segregated mandates, insurance funds and SPV structures.

The successful applicant will be proactive in managing change, and working on standalone basis to investigate complex accounting standards across domiciles. A good client facing approach is essential.

The job holder will also be involved in contributing to the design of the operating model and ensuring that robust controls are embedded within structures / books at on-board and play an oversight role once in BAU.

In this role, you will deal with and be exposed to:

Providing expertise to accounting requirements across the asset class and fund jurisdictions.
Ensuring that any interpretation of requirements is understood and implemented robustly.
Assist with new technology repercussions of integrating these asset classes within operational mode.
Group accounting consolidations
Building and maintaining successful stakeholder relations

Required knowledge and experience:

Qualified, QBE or NQ Accountant
Experience of dealing directly with external clients and third parties.
Thorough knowledge of Investment Accounting and Fund Administration with knowledge of LLP and LP structures highly beneficial
Knowledge of Yardi or Investran systems beneficial
Strong business sense and awareness of the key issues/risks within the Fund Administration area
