Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a bright, forward-thinking individual to join an expanding, successful Finance team based in Bradford as a Graduate Treasury Analyst.
Reporting into the Senior Treasury Manager, the Graduate Treasury Analyst will actively support in the production of reporting to facilitate the general oversight of Treasury activities. You will also be responsible for the management of cash and collateral across the Treasury function together with the set-up and ongoing maintenance of all treasury-related systems.
Key Responsibilities of the Treasury Analyst will include:
* Support the establishment of a governance framework for the effective maintenance of Treasury policies and procedures, creating and maintaining a register for monitoring and control purposes
* Support the establishment of a register and directory for the operational risk assessments and controls in Treasury
* Prepare reporting of Treasury counterparty exposures to internal limits (including intra-group lending positions) for oversight to ensure compliance and the reporting of any breaches in line with policy
* Prepare reports for the movement of cash and collateral requirements relating to the BoE liquidity and funding schemes, and other facilities
* Prepare instructions for collateral management purposes, ensuring margin calls are reconciled and tracked through to settlement with any disputes resolved within the contracted time-frame
* Support with the ongoing management and setup of the Treasury Management System and other Treasury related systems
* Prepare instructions for the daily management of cash across the Group's bank account structure to ensure sufficient funding of the divisions whilst adhering to counterparty credit limits and overdraft limits
* Support management with ad hoc queries
* Maintaining bank account, custody account and front office dealing mandates
* Ensure timely communication of Treasury matters to all relevant Committees
Key skills and experience required:
* Experience gained in a financial Treasury environment including Middle or Back Offices
* Good understanding of financial markets, financial instruments and debt instruments
* Good understanding of accounting principles
* Excellent time management and organisational ability
* Ability to influence stakeholders
* Strong project management skills
* A track record of developing and delivering process improvement
* Excellent computer software skills, including Microsoft Excel and Treasury Management Systems
* Degree educated in a relevant qualification
* Able to manage tight deadlines and manage projects
