Senior Finance Assistant | Nottinghamshire | £24,000 – £29,000 + Study Support + 50% WFH a week

Cherry Professional are once again working with one of our favoured clients who can provide all of the above for a budding Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant. The company is based in Nottinghamshire and also operate under a hybrid working model.
In this role, the successful applicant will be able to report into a knowledgeable and supportive Assistant Finance Manager (who we placed in that role and know well!) whilst also getting to act as the liaison between the operational and finance teams, thus received some exposure to business partnering.

JOB TITLE: SENIOR FINANCE ASSISTANT
LOCATION: NOTTINGHAMSHIRE
SALARY: £24,000 – £29,000

THE JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
– Production of journals for prepayments and
– Support the preparation of month-end accounts.
– Perform bank reconciliations.
– Operate as the point of contact and link between the operations and finance teams.
– Perform transactional finance and financial administration tasks.
 
This role would suit you if you are the following:
– An active studier in AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
– Possess 2+ years’ experience working within a finance function.
– Are comfortable handling large data sets and operating on Excel.
– Are an effective communicator.
