Job Description
Are you an Audit & Accounts Senior Manager looking to step up to a role with genuine Partnership prospects with a medium sized Chartered firm? Or are you an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager looking to step up to Senior Manager level and have more responsibility?

If so this independent firm has created a new role due to continued high growth within the business. Based in the busy Audit Department your role will include looking after the firms largest audit clients, reviewing work and driving the quality of the audit offering within the firm. There is clear succession planning in place for this role to step up to become Audit Partner.

Most clients range to £50m turnover and are UK based although they have some international groups as well. In your role you will be responsible for managing the larger audit assignments from planning to completion including reviewing work and leading client meetings, being involved with setting fees, budgeting, billing, monitoring WIP etc, as well as reviewing other work, giving staff appraisals and helping to oversee and manage the department.Your role will be varied, challenging, yet hugely enjoyable and promotion prospects are strong for the right candidate.

To be considered for this new role you must be ACA or ACCA qualified ideally with 5+ years PQE. You must currently be operating at Manager or Senior Manager level. You will have strong team management skills and be able to review work and give appraisals to all levels of staff. You must be a team player and have good communication skills.

This newly created role is to act as a link between Manager and Partner grade, and to provide more leadership in the firm and to take a number of high level duties off the Partners to free their time. Overall this represents an excellent new opportunity for either a Senior Manager looking for their next challenge or an experienced Manager looking to step up to Senior Manager level, to join a good quality and friendly medium size firm, work in an interesting and varied mixed general practice role with great promotional prospects on offer.
