Job Description
We are working with a nationwide IFA to assist them in the appointment of a Business Development Manager. This role will be home-based with national travel, the ideal candidate will live along the M4 corridor.

The main purpose of the role is to manage existing introducer relationships and generate new ones to feed business into the Corporate and Private Client divisions of the business. There will be a focus on new corporate client acquisition.

To succeed in this role you will have a good knowledge on Financial Planning and Employee Benefits products.

Responsibilities

* Drive sales across all service and product areas

* Own, project manage, and deliver business development campaigns in coordination with marketing

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities

* Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders

* Conduct periodic market research

Critical skills

* Strong communication and presentation skills

* The ability to negotiate and influence others

* Organisational skills

* The ability to think strategically and creatively

Experience required

* Success in a similar role

* Financial Planning knowledge
