SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN WELLINGBOROUGH, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE- JOB REF: JO33221
Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Wellingborough. This company serves a wide variety of clients in the local around surrounding areas. Due to a period of substantial growth, this company is looking to add to their fantastic team.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is either fully or part AAT qualified with ambitions to continue with further qualifications such as ACCA/ACA. A minimum of 2 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Good knowledge of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks would also be ideal.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and small Limited Companies.
* Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns.
* Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns.
* General Bookkeeping duties for clients.
* Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
Candidates Attributes:
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in UK Accountancy Practice.
* Either part AAT qualified or currently studying for either the ACCA or ACA qualification.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages.
