About the role
As a Payroll Analyst your mission it is to provide an effective and efficient outsourced payroll service to our range of customers. You'll respond to requests and queries raised in a friendly, helpful and efficient manner, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. You'll work alongside your colleagues to support your Team Leader, driving a quality service delivery to the customer base and continuously look to improve the processes and service provided.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to requests, queries and complaints from external customers in a friendly and efficient manner so as to enhance customer loyalty.
To provide support to the Payroll Team Leader to ensure an excellent quality
service to the client base and continuously improve the processes and service provided year on year
There may be additional activities to perform from time to time to maximise the contribution to the companies goals and objectives.
To perform all duties in accordance with the company Health & Safety and Quality policy procedures.
Maintains a working knowledge of current statutory and legislative compliance,
Keeping abreast of all changes through publications, websites and seminars
Ensures data is received in the right format and in time to complete payrolls to agreed deadlines
Ensures all Payroll Processes and Procedures are documented and updated regularly
Handles complex payroll queries escalated from the client
Prioritises and actions daily tasks to be accomplished to meet SLA.
Completes and owns payroll processing cycle for allocated customers
Calculates, prepares and transmits manual payments and third-party disbursements.
Liaises with other areas of the business to meet and enhance payroll delivery.
Provides statistics for chargeable work to enable effective invoicing.
Skills and Experience
Basic numeracy skills
Experience of customer handling skills (by telephone, face to face and written contact)
Sound Payroll knowledge and experience
Proven work record in Payroll Services
ResourceLink experience would be ideal but not essential
