Job Description
We are partnering with a global, market leading company with the hiring a Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) Management Accountant.

The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of the management accounting section by leading and developing 3 direct reports. They will use their financial expertise to ensure all aspects of a busy manufacturing finance department are provided against stringent deadlines.

You will be responsible for:

* Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports for senior management and head office.

* To provide a full accounting service with a diverse remit including MIS, monthly standard reporting, VAT returns, reconciliations and variance analysis.

* You will be the main contact for the statutory auditors and lead the quarterly and annual audit preparation.

* Make suggestions on improvements to the overall running of the department.

* Be involved in production of materials for meetings and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

* Be a confident qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience of building high performing teams.

* A highly motivated self-starter, with exceptional organisational and communication skills

* You will need to be able to prioritise team tasks effectively

* Work successfully in a dynamic, high pressure environment.

* A team player with the ability to also work on your own initiative, you will display excellent interpersonal skills whilst supporting the business.

* Advanced excel and SAP.
