Assistant Management Accountant| Wolverhampton Area| Permanent |up to £40,000 DOE + excellent benefits
A newly created position for a dynamic Assistant Management Accountant to support the Head of Finance
The Company
Seymour John are delighted to be recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant in a newly created role where you will provide support with an imminent ERP implementation project.
The Opportunity
You will report to the Head of Finance where your duties will include:
* Full month end procedures
* Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts
* Preparation of year-end financial accounts and associated audit and taxation packs
* Being an integral part of the ERP systems implementation team
* Providing professional finance support to other specific projects including but not limited to following:
* Working capital reduction review, specifically stock reduction
* Margin review and analysis of costings
* Compilation of the strategic, budget and other financial plans
* Control of cash flow within defined parameters
Personal Profile
We are extremely keen to hear from candidates who are part qualified ACCA or CIMA, particularly if you have been involved in a recent ERP system implementation. You will be proficient with excel with the ability to interpret data, provide analysis and challenge. We are looking for a confident and ambitious individual who has good project management skills.
Hours of Work: 7.30am-4.00pm Monday-Thursday, Friday 7.30am-1.00pm
