Our client is a well established and reputable Insolvency Practitioner based in Leeds. 

Providing expert advice to both companies and individuals facing financially challenging situations, they are able to offer a full range of formal insolvency appointments.

Having successfully grown the team, our client is looking to expand again with the need for an Insolvency Manager.

Annual salary of £40 to £50k dependent on experience

What we need from you:

We’re looking for someone who understand our sector, who is people focused and highly organised. This role involves managing a small team as well as being customer facing. The successful candidate will be:

Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of insolvency cases (mainly corporate).
Managing a team of 5.
Liaising directly with solicitors, debtors and creditors.
Ability to manage a large number of appointments.
Assist with specialist strategies for the larger and more complex situations (business rescue, debt recovery, bankruptcy advice, restructuring, etc).Participating in internal and external training sessions as required.

Completing appropriate banking and cheque request forms, to ensure that estate monies are handled correctly.
It’s about finding the right fit and ideally you will:

Be a self-starter / motivated with a willingness to invest time and effort now to succeed in the future.
Poses strong interpersonal, verbal communication skills.
Ideally CPI qualified, but this is not essential.
Operating and updating case management, and other software.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory provisions.
Maintain and update IPS case diaries.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent people management skills.
Good time management and organisational skills together with the ability to prioritise tasks to ensure that deadlines are met.
