Job Description
Our client is a leading rapidly expanding tech business and due to exciting growth plans they are now looking to recruit a Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller in providing high level accounting, financial management, and financial information services across the business.
This is a recently created role in which you will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department, managing a team, and assisting the Financial Controller with an increasing workload. You will lead, motivate and manage a Finance Team of four experienced members as well as monitoring existing accounting systems, recommending and implementing initiatives to improve their effectiveness where appropriate. This role will also cover management accounts work, managing daily cash flow and regular foreign currency forecasts, managing the month end closing of ledgers and reconciliations and assisting with monthly and year-end financial accounts as well as assisting the Financial Controller in ad hoc projects.
We are looking for you to have strong all round accounting experience in line with the duties outlined above and you will also need some experience of people management and development.
