We are looking for a highly motivated professional with experience in planning, estimating, scripting, and executing testing of system changes for Pepper's internally developed mortgage servicing software.

The main responsibilities of a Test Analyst will include:

Writing Test Scripts using well defined testing techniques, ensuring prerequisites, steps, and expected results are clearly defined
Confirming changes by running test scripts, giving comprehensive status of test execution, defects, and raising risks in daily and weekly meetings
Creating, reviewing, and supporting the creation of test plans based on information from various document types, of sufficiently high quality to be shared externally with clients and other key stakeholders
Raising defects and using technical knowledge and experience to provide relevant information to support developers to fix bugs
Developing knowledge of the internal mortgage servicing systems in order to identify the impact of change on the systems by liaising with business analysts, developers, and end users
Supporting the business whilst they are performing User Acceptance Testing, including environment support, investigating and overcoming issues, and raising defects.
Providing evidence of completed testing through robust test closure documentation.
Identifying ways to improve test process, ensuring benefits and plans to implement any change are shared and reviewed by management and peers.We welcome applications for this Test Analyst role from candidates with skills and experience in the following areas: SQL, Test Planning, Defects, Testing, ISTQB, Test Analyst, Quality Assurance, Software Tester, Phoebus, Scripting, Document Control, Technical, IT, User Interfaces, Implementation.

Essential Skills

A good understanding of formal testing approaches; ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation or higher
A strong communicator able to relay information competently in an organised manner
Prepared to context shift to high-priority tasks when required
Effectively develop working relationships with different members of the business
The following technical skills:
o Basic SQL knowledge, e.g. Select, Insert, Delete, Joins essential
o Basic knowledge in programming / scripting desirable
o Knowledge of mortgage servicing or similar desirable
o Knowledge of loan engine software, e.g. Phoebus desirable

Desirable Skills

Additionally, it would be desirable if you're able to:
