Job Description
Financial Accounting Technician
Our client is a leading food manufacturing business, with multiple legal entities involved in supplying some of the UK's leading retailers. The business has grown considerably over the last 10 years and the business is complex with a large number of business operations operating across the whole of the United Kingdom.
As a result of this expansion they are looking to appoint a Financial Accounting Technician to assist in carrying out all the required accounting activities for the group of companies, and the subsequent consolidation of accounts. You would also be involved in assisting in various other financial accounting aspects including Group VAT and pensions.
This is a key financial accounting position reporting into the Financial Controller, we are looking therefore for someone with a real interest in financial accounting who is qualified AAT or part qualified financial accountant. The role will initially involve learning how the financial accounting of the group operates, and so it will appeal to someone who has a passion for financial accounts, who enjoys a challenge and who wants to help a large and rapidly growing business develop further.
Applicants must possess a relevant Finance based qualification, preferably AAT or equivalent, and will ideally have financial accountancy experience.
The salary is negotiable upon experience but is likely to be circa £35-38k + benefits
