Job Description
Job Title: Finance & Office Manager
Salary: £50k plus benefits
Location: Greater Manchester
Specialist recruiter Martin Anthony Recruitment is working with a leading privately owned business who are striving towards world-class capability in all areas of their business They are looking for an experienced Finance & Office Manager.
The position is heavily weighted towards Finance Management, so the candidate will have the skills, knowledge, and experience to lead Finance. Added to this there will be some HR, administrative and support activities included, co-ordinating with external experts and providing a key influence on decisions made within the business.
The main part of the job – Finance:
Ensuring the business effectively manages and undertakes the activities of:
* Cash flow forecasting & management
* Customer invoicing
* VAT records and VAT submissions
* Production of management accounts including P&L
* Maintenance of purchase sales ledgers
* Management of Debtors/Creditors
* Management of business Utilities
* Management of business insurance
Additional responsibilities:
* HR – liaison with the external HR support organisation to ensure the business effectively manages and undertakes HR activities
* Health & Safety – liaison with the external Health & Safety support organisation to ensure the business effectively manages and undertakes the activities of Health & Safety
The Person:
* Experience in a similar position is essential
* A financial management qualification such as ACA or CIMA or equivalent is required
