Job Description
RM Recruit are working with a fantastic not-for-profit organisation based in Birmingham who are on the lookout for a Finance Assistant on a full-time basis for circa 6-8 weeks.
This role will allow you to become an integral part of the team and support the day-to-day financial processes and administrative procedures across the organisation.
Main duties:
* Double entry bookkeeping
* Bank reconciliations
* Journal postings
* Credit card reconciliation
* Aged Creditors
* Processing of supplier invoices
* Credit control
* Processing expenses
* Supporting the finance team in ad hoc duties
* Responding to customer queries in a timely manner
* Weekly BACS runs
* Updating the ledger
* Payment schedule for suppliers
* Providing holiday cover for posting daily cash receipts
As the ideal candidate, you will be available at short notice / immediately and possess good experience with SAGE 200. You will work well within a team setting and be a confident communicator with great attention to detail and accuracy. This role is solely office based working 36.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or working towards an accounting qualification. Applicants who are qualified by experience will also be considered for this position. Finance administration experience is essential for this role.
