Job Description
Are you looking for your next career progression as a Credit Controller?

Elevation Accountancy & Finance have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious & enthusiastic Credit Controller, to join a key client, based in Leeds, as they look to add to their team. This role is initially on a temporary basis with the view to going permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the collection of overdue invoice payments and outstanding debts by email and telephone, liaising with customers and helping resolve queries and disputes in a professional and confident manner. You will be expected to ensure debt is collected in accordance with agreed timescales and that all systems are updated accordingly with any relevant information. You will need to understand and support Sales Admin with the processing of new customers and sales orders.

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

– Maintain the busy UK Credit control email inbox
– Direct debits [setup, AUDDIS reports, returned DD's]
– Post cash receipts
– Chase payments
– Chase deposit invoices not collected by DD [new customers]
– Assist Financial Controller in drafting legal letters
– Resolve queries
– Reduce debtor days
– Reduce number of problem accounts and bad debts
– Raising of credit notes and corrected invoices
– Assist sales admin in creating of new customers, setting up contracts, checking credit
reports/contracts etc.
