Autograph Recruitment (Accountancy and Finance) We are currently assisting our client with their recruitment of an Assistant Accountant to be based at the firms Taunton, Somerset office.

Salary: £22k -£35k (DOE)  

Our client are a leading firm of chartered accountants with offices based in Taunton is looking to recruit for an Part ACCA / ACA Assistant Accountant to join the firm, in a role with excellent progression and development potential on offer focused working on the firms varied client base.

Description

Joining as Part ACCA / ACA Assistant Accountant you will be based in the firms Taunton, Somerset office. You will have wide ranging responsibilities across the preparation of limited, sole trader and partnerships accounts, corporate and personal tax, VAT and wider general practice service provision. You will also have the potential to develop technically assisting on a small amount of audit work, with training and support for those with out any existing experience within the audit discipline with full training and support on offer for this. You will join a highly successful and regarded team of accounting professionals in a growing, leading firm of chartered accountants. With positive developments within the business there are excellent prospects for career progression for career focused professionals.

Our client is a leading firm of chartered accountants which focuses on servicing wide ranging industry clients to encompass a whole spectrum of sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs, larger corporates, with groups, subsidiaries and charity clients. The firm uses a variety of software across CCH, Digita, Quickbooks, Xero.

Profile

You may ACCA/ACA. You will have gained experience of working in accountancy practice ideally over the previous 2 – 3 years or considerably more, working within a firm of accountants of any size preparing year end accounts/tax etc for limited companies and unincorporated businesses, sole traders etc. You will be looking for a challenging new career opportunity with scope to progress technically and develop within your career.
