The successful Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for operating the Accounts Payable function for the Oliver Valves Business, offering support to the finance team and wider business with the following range of duties.

Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

Processing purchase invoices.
Matching invoices to purchase orders and reconcile differences.
Ensuring goods are booked in before payment.
Assisting in month end reconciliation.
Creating BACS and western union payments.
Assisting accounts receivable with debt collection along with holiday cover.
Release orders as needed
Ad Hoc finance tasks as needed
Skills & Experience Required:

Attention to detail.
Team player.
Ability to use own initiative to resolve problems.
Highly organised.
Self-motivator.
Prepared to suggest improvements to processes.
Accounts Payable experience required.
IT literate, use of excel, ERP system experience.
Numerate.
