Job Description
My client, a specialist producer of display graphics, large scale print, visual marketing experiences and signage are on the lookout for a talented Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Assistant.
Reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager and working as part of the credit controller team, you will take ownership for a range of accounts receivable duties and work on a high-volume ledger. There will be opportunities for growth within the team and across an accounting team of 26 covering AR. AP. General ledger reporting and business partnering in the future for the suitable candidate
Key responsibilities & accountabilities
• Chasing debt via telephone and email
• Cash postings
• Allocations
• Handling client queries
• Opening new accounts
• Credit checking
• General accounts receivable administration
• Sales Ledger Invoicing
• Business partnering with company directors to support growth and new business process.
• Working with the sales ledger team and wider finance team to support their requirements and to ensure progression of their own personal development which will in turn strengthen the finance team.
Skills required:
• Experienced credit controller and sales ledger experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable – able to continuously improve processes and spot opportunities for improvement –
• Microsoft B365 and SAP experience would be highly beneficial
• Good IT literacy
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a very hands-on capacity
