Management Accountant

Welshpool

Up to £40,000

Seymour John are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing company who seek a Management Accountant to report to the overall Head of Finance. In this role you will work closely with operations and have responsibility for weekly and monthly margin analysis and variance reporting.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

* Weekly & monthly stock review and forecasting

* Ensure accuracy of stocks through review process and overseeing stocktakes

* Monthly margin analysis by customer and product

* Have a good understanding of product costings and input into customer pricing discussions on adhoc basis

* Regular review of material variances and report weekly

* Prepare monthly presentation for group, providing commentary and overview of result and variances

* Regularly review cost centre postings and prepare monthly cost centre reviews

* Adhoc support to other finance team members and the Financial Controller

* Quarterly VAT review

* National Statistics returns

* Artwork cost analysis and forecasting

* Monthly P&L and balance sheet forecasting and annual budgets preparation including HFM update

* First point of contact with auditors, managing information requests an ensuring audit completed to deadlines

My client is open minded to part or fully qualified candidates or qualified by experience and study support will be offered if required. You will ideally have a manufacturing background and knowledge of SAP with strong MS Excel skills and be highly numerate and accurate with excellent attention to detail. In return you will receive 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, pension, 3x death in service and income protection.
