Job Description
Part time permanent – (3 x Days per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm (days are flexible)
Birmingham CIty Centre- close to (Office only based role)
Accounts Assistant – Construction
* Knowledge of Construction Manager preferable (training can be given)
* Knowledge of IRIS Payroll preferable (training can be given)
* Entering purchase invoices on Construction Manager
* Producing sales invoices on Construction Manager
* Wages – including salaried staff/field engineers/warehouse hourly paid staff, (including pensions/salary sacrifice) – dealing with HMRC for starters/leavers etc Returns (IRIS payroll)
* CIS on Sage for subcontractor invoices/payments – including payments and Returns to HMRC.
* Entering time sheets on Construction Manager
* Reimbursement and costing of mileage expenses
* Ad hoc admin duties – answering the phone/raising purchase orders etc (though this would be a minimal part)
The payroll aspect is not a necessity as training can be given to a candidate (as can the Construction Manager software), but accounting experience required.
