Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Overall responsibility for a portfolio of clients, including ownership of the client relationship and the adherence to both statutory and internal deadlines.
Liaise with clients to aid the smooth on-boarding of clients that subscribe to our accountancy service.
Preparation and submission of monthly payroll, VAT returns and self-assessment tax returns to HMRC.
Perform quarterly reviews of an online bookkeeping tool to ensure financial information is up-to-date, accurate and free from error.
Preparation and submission of statutory accounts and corporation tax returns to HMRC.
Responsible for the registrations completed by the trainee accountant.
Involvement in the training of new members of staff on the team.
Required Skills and Experience:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding organisational skills
The ability to cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues.
Capable of being flexible and adapting to changes, such as legislation amendments.
Qualified or studying towards their AAT qualification.
The ability to work through tasks of varying complexity in a methodical manner.
Able to work individually and also contribute as part of a team.
